What is kiln-dried firewood and how is it different than regularly seasoned wood?

Kiln-dried firewood is dried in a controlled kiln to remove excess moisture. This results in wood that burns hotter, lights faster, and produces less smoke than traditional firewood.

Seasoned firewood is air-dried outdoors over time and can still retain higher moisture levels.

Since kiln-dried firewood is dried more thoroughly and consistently, it's cleaner, more efficient, and easier to use - especially for indoor fireplaces and wood stoves.

Where do you deliver to?

We currently offer free delivery in Connecticut to Hartford, Tolland, and Litchfield Counties. We also offer free delivery to Hampden County, Massachusetts. Delivery outside of those areas may be possible but will incur a fee. Please contact us for more information.

How do I place an order?

You can order directly from our website. Just choose the amount of kiln-dried firewood you would like and whether or not you would like it stacked. We will reach out within 24 hours to schedule a delivery date and time. We deliver your firewood directly to the location you specify and will do all of the heavy lifting. Your firewood will arrive clean and ready to burn.
